  1. Im replacing the motor and need to fit the boss to the new motor, very reluctant to use a hammer to fit to new crankshft. any suggestions?

    • Fitting the boss to a new motor should be relatively easy if both surfaces are clean, If you don’t want to use a hammer you can use a rubber mallet, Or you could use the blade carrier & nut to tighten the boss down, You would need to fill up the combustion camber with starter rope or a rag to stop the engine rotating while you did this.
